Ten Tunes 4 Ur Tuesday
Ten Tunes 4 Ur Tuesday
*Disclaimer: I actually typed this post up yesterday, but forgot to post it. Whoops. Although it’s almost 11 pm (therefore, Tuesday is pretty much over), I had to post it tonight. Why? Because alliteration is key, and I couldn’t think of a music-related term that started with a “w”. My only two options were music // Monday and tunes // Tuesday. So there ya go. Happy almost Wednesday, folks.
Helloooo everyone, and happy Tuesday! How was your day? Good? Good. Mine was decent, not too eventful- as per usual. It went a little something like this:
6:15 am: First alarm goes off. Hit snooze.
6:30 am: Second alarm goes off. Hit snooze.
6:44 am: Third alarm goes off. I finally decide to make the trek out of bed and to the bathroom.
7:20 am: Eat some cottage cheese and blueberries- the breakfast of champions, like myself. Sip coffee out of my Disney princess mug. Although I’m heavily addicted to coffee, I have unfortunately built an immunity to the energizing effects of caffeine.
8:00-10:30 am: Go to fashion class. I’m not very productive, but I do eat a bagel. Unfortunately, those carbs gave me no energy, and I just ended up half-dozing off while scrolling through puppy videos on Facebook.
11:00 am: Try to eat a salad. I throw the salad away and eat some french fries instead.
Noon-ish: Nap for about 2 hours. This is the true highlight of my day.
Later in the afternoon: Eat a muffin. Make some pasta. I love carbs.
Later in the evening: I begin making my final garment for fashion, but then I mess up and everything explodes and I spend another $30 on MORE denim, and it ends up being the wrong color !! As of now, my skirt looks like some patchwork project that a blind grandma and a kindergartner put together. What a mess.
Nighttime: Watch the newest Barbie Maraposa movie. Eat another muffin.
Folks, if that’s not life at it’s finest, then I don’t know what is.

Folks, if that’s not life at it’s finest, then I don’t know what is.
Anyways, here I am- sitting in a poorly lit room, sipping on some Mott’s Tots apple juice, and I thought to myself, “Hey, what’s a better way to get through a mediocre day than listening to music?” The answer to this, in all honesty, is sleep- but that’s not very productive, now is it? So, I decided to share with you all of the jazzy tunes that I’ve been listening to, and hopefully they help spice up your week a bit! Also, Gus Dapperton is a perfect specimen of a human, whose music I stumbled upon the other week. Oh. My. God. He’s great. And so weird, but in a super quirky, classic art kid kind of way. His music videos are directed and shot by Matthew Dillon Cohen, who creates the best music videos I’ve ever seen. Again, super weird, but in a super quirky, classic art kid kind of way.
“As of right now my big plan is to overcome the neighbor who calls several noise complaints on me everyday. After that I will strive to be happy and always exist in reality.”
