Bohemian Weekends & January Warmth
Bohemian Weekends & January Warmth
My oh my, what a week I’ve had.
It’s currently pouring, pouring, pouring here in Savannah, and I’m cooped up with my cough-ridden body, avoiding productivity at all costs, and falling victim to procrastination. Ugh, this rain is so drab (of course, I attempted to remedy these icky vibes by watching rom-coms and munching on much-deserved macaroons… and even that didn’t work)! Sooo, I felt it necessary to brighten up all this rainy dreariness with some reminiscence of warmth and happiness!
Last week was super duper warm and sunny, which totally evoked my inner boho feels. Okay, so I’m sort of lacking in the bohemian department when it comes to my wardrobe, so for the most part, this is my go-to outfit when I’m feeling a bit Coachella. Lightweight, printed pants are a must; they’re super comfy, totally breathable, and don’t encourage sweat-induced chub rub!! I paired these paints with an ankle-skimming tunic (it also looks dope as hell with super distressed denim or printed leggings, due to the high slits on the side). For me, bohemian means lotsssss of accessories. Beads and braids and necklaces of all lengths- just layer, layer, layer, and don’t be afraid to mix lots of textures and colors. It’s all about looking effortless and free, and embracing your inner gypsy-meets-flower-child-meets-music-festival-fashionista.
Embrace Your Misfit (and Gypsy) Soul,
xoxo Julia B.
