As a handful of you might know, I spent a very interesting (and not necessarily productive) summer in New York City.
Take notes, my friends- these people are slaying the plant-based, zero-waste, health-conscious game.
Speaking from personal experience, being in a long distance relationship can be incredibly tough. However, for us, it was also one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences.
Sometimes, life is shit. And when life is shitty we then proceed to feel shitty ourselves, and it’s basically a snowball effect that results in a big, toxic pile of bad feelings, self-doubt, regret, remorse, etc.
I am very lucky to be able to give myself so fully to two communities, my gays and my tree huggers, and I’m so thankful for everything they give me in return.
There’s a weird sense of irony that New York possesses. I’ve always dreamed of living here; it always seemed that the grass (or concrete, rather) was so much better up here.
